Craziest Laws

• In Massachusetts, there is a fine of $10 if you deface a milk carton. No writing, drawing, or coloring allowed, so tell the kiddies.
• It is illegal to put ice cream on cherry pie if you live in Kansas. Whip cream is still an acceptable pie topping.
• In Fort Madison, Iowa, the fire department must practice fire fighting for 15 minutes before they can put out a real fire. Remember, practice makes perfect.
• In Indiana, baths may not be taken between October and March. Better stock up on wet wipes and soap.
• Riding a merry-go-round in Idaho on Sundays is considered a crime. Opt for the Ferris wheel or roller coaster instead.
• In Acworth, Georgia, everyone must own a rake. The state encourages citizens to keep their yards neat and tidy.
• In Miami, Florida, it is illegal to sing while one’s wearing a bathing suit. Humming is also not aloud while wearing beachwear.
   
• In Singapore, citizens caught littering are forced to clean the streets on Sundays wearing a banner that says, “I’m a litter bug.”
• Balloons that have advertising printed on them are illegal in Hartford, Connecticut. Better think of another way to get the word out.
• In Lehigh, Nebraska, no one is allowed to sell doughnut holes. Doughnuts can be sold, but the middles must be discarded.
• In Israel, it’s illegal to pick your nose on Saturdays. All other days of the week are fine.
• In Blythe, California, citizens are not permitted to wear cowboy boots unless they own at least two cows. Don’t try to buy a pair unless you have proof of cow ownership.
• In France, one can go to prison for naming a pig Napoleon. Charlotte, Pinky, Porky, and Oinkers are still acceptable.
• In Alabama, you cannot have an ice cream cone in your back pocket at any time. There is no law about placing it in your front pocket.
• In Bernards Township in the state of New Jersey, it is illegal to frown. This town is considered a “frown-free town zone.”
