LB TIMES BREAKING NEWS:
A UPLB student was stabbed and killed at a hold-up incident at F.O. Santos St, Umali Subdivision this morning (March 4, 2012).
The 19-year-old BS Agriculture student, Ray Bernard Peñaranda, was walking along the said street with two companions, when two men in a motorcycle approached them and announced hold-up at around 1 a.m.
The two companions, a male and a female, were able to run to call for help, while the student was left upon being stabbed in the chest according to witness. He was taken at Los Baños Doctors Hospital at 1:30 a.m. but died.
The robbers took nothing.
